Carl has left for the summer so the Monday, Wednesday, Friday clinics have ceased for this season. He will be back to start them in October. We will keep you informed.

The I19 clean up will be Sunday, April 22, 2007. Al Baker says we are to sign up at west. We will meet at west center at 7:30 that day and depart for the fun of picking up trash at 8:00 a.m.

GREEN VALLEY TENNIS CLUB “HANDICAP TOURNAMENT”
(This will be a “fun” tournament, with handicaps assessed to the stronger players. Come join the fun, play with players you may have never played with. Possibility for a weaker player to be the tournament winner)

FRIDAY AND SATURDAY APRIL 6-7TH, 2007

• Men’s/Women’s Doubles – All ability levels
• Entry deadline is APRIL 3, 2007. Balls and “munchies” will be provided. Bring your own snack, lunch, drink, etc.
• Open to Tennis Club members only (annual membership just $10)

Entry forms are available at the West Center in a box at court # 5. Drop them off at West where you sign in to use courts - not at the “Tennis Shack”.

Ted Aiken passed away at 5:15 a.m. on Wednesday, March 21st, of conjestive heart failure - there will be no services.

The meeting on March 11, 2007 will be the annual meeting for the tennis club. It will be held on Sunday, March 11 at Desert Hills - social hour begins at 5:30 pm and dinner at 6:15 pm. Dinner will be catered.

Cost: $15 per person

Bring what you want to drink - table service will be provided

Deadline to register for the dinner is March 5th.
